Chase Securities, Inc. (CRD #10793, New York, New York) received a censure and fine of $12,500. In addition, the regulators ordered that they firm submit revised written supervisory procedures concerning transaction reporting within 60 days of acceptance of this AWC by the National Adjudicatory Council (NAC). According to the complaint, the firm failed to report transactions in Nasdaq National MarketŪ (NNM) securities to the Automated Confirmation Transaction ServiceSM (ACTSM) in a timely manner. The firm also failed to designate them as late to ACT. Additionally, the complaint stated that the firm failed to accept or decline transactions in eligible securities within the appropriate time period. Furthermore, the firm failed to establish, enforce and maintainwritten supervisory procedures adequately designed to achieve compliance with applicable securities laws, regulations and NASD rules concerning transaction reporting. The firm accepted the fine and censure but did not admit or deny the accusations. (NASD Case #CMS000012)
